The guest rooms

You will enjoy a warm welcome for one or more nights, a week or a few days'holiday in our guest rooms. They are decorated with taste and they are located in the outbuildings of our mansion dating from the beginning of the 17th Century.

For two people : 60 euros a night plus 20 euros per extra guest, breakfast included.

The Détour has been awarded a distinction (three corn ears) by Gîte de France. (Three ears mean guest rooms of high standard equipped with private bathrooms).

On arrival in a peaceful and pleasant set up, you can safely park your car inside the property.

On the terrace, in the shade under the birches, in the park, you will be able to enjoy a cool drink and relax after a trip or an excursion.

All our rooms are spacious with a lounge corner, a sofa and a low table. The modern decor blends with the environment. Each room is equipped with a spacious and pleasant private bathroom.

On the mezzanine, there is a lounge where you will enjoy socializing with friends before going to your rooms. It will be a special time to share and exchange your impressions on the picturesque sights and on the unusual places you have visited along the Loue Valley.

The quiet atmosphere of this small village of 130 inhabitants will harbour your sleep and you will wake up in the morning with the happy sound of the birds'chirping.

A downstairs lounge overlooking the terrace will be there for you to relax. Books and games are at your disposal in the library. They wille keep you entertained before you go and taste the local french country cuisine at the village inn : l'Auberge du Village or in the nearby restaurants.

In the dining area with a view over the donkeys'pasture, a copious breakfast will be served, with local delicacies and our home-made jam.

If you travel with your children, family rooms will be available (3 or 4 beds). Beside books and games, Marius and César, the Détour donkeys will be delighted to meet you. Bicycles equipped with children seats will also alloy you to explore the area.

	For disabled people : a guest room complying with the norms is available on the ground floors
	Specialized gite : for children Our rooms can also accommodate children with a large enclosed space outside and a field with donkeys.
	Breakfast : Breakfast is always included in the price of the room. Home-made jam, the village honey and delicacies from Franche-Comté will be offereds
	Local specialities Refreshments will be served on the terrace or in the park. In the village, you will be able to taste our local wines (Arbois and its Vin Jaune…) with an assortment of cooked pork meats (Morteau sausages, Jura raw ham, Comté cheese, Cancoillotte...) L'Auberge de Buffard, the Village Inn, can treat you with all these delicacies, a few yards away from Le Détour >>> http://aubergedebuffard.free.fr, and many other restaurants in the surrounding villages.
	Parking : private parking place Your vehicle will be safely parked inside the property
	Tennis : tennis courts nearby You will be able to enjoy the local village tennis court.
	Swimming in the Loue outside the village, canoeing, mountain-biking, cycling, fishing and hiking We have tho donkeys named Marius and César. They will be verty happy to meet you. You will be welcome at Le Détour all the year round, even in winter. Ski runs and cross country ski trails are available nearby in the Haut-Doubs area
	Television : No television.. Many books and board games for adults and children will keep you entertained.
	Amenities : A hair-dryer, an ironing-board and an iron are available
	Pets : Our friends, cats and dogs, are welome if well trained
	Telephone : There are no telephones in the rooms
